Will Ferrell joins Bear Grylls on “Man vs Wild”!
Incredible but true! Will Ferrell joined Bear Grylls for the latest “Man vs Wild” show in Arctic, specifically in Northern Sweden!
Here’s what Bear had to say about the whole experience on his blog:
I really admire Will for taking the plunge and committing to come along, and he arrived with no entourage at all. Just him. I loved that. All I then asked of him was to trust me. We gave him a good briefing the night before and then we both got dropped into the mountains at dawn.
The rest will tell its tale in the show itself, but in summary: Will did amazingly, despite some quite hairy moments. I suspect people will be greatly impressed by him. And for me, it was so lovely to have someone along to laugh with!

Can you believe this?! It’s just awesome! I am a big fan of Bear Grylls — his Alaska show, where he walked off the mountain in his ski socks is what got me into hiking and wilderness exploration.
And Will Ferrell, man you’ve got to love his performance in Step Brothers (remember the interview scene where him and his “brother” came together for an interview wearing tuxedos! But the interview was for a janitor position!), or the Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby (where he is trying to get the “Frenchy” racer, crashes the car and ends up in the hospital all delusional and his wife is ready to “pull the plug”!), or how about his performance in Old School where he’s running butt naked across town. The guy is just hilarious!
I can’t wait for the new Man vs While show and the Land of the Lost comedy!

WOW the show was amazing! Will Ferrell was hilarious: “Bear, I think I lost my penis”
“Mommy, mommy.” repelling down the chopper. It doesn’t get any better than this. It was also very interesting to see/hear Bear talk to another human being on the show — did you notice how much different he comes across when he’s not just talking to the camera. He’s even more down to earth guy than I thought he was.
There should be more of these shows — keep them coming Bear!
